Commencement Ceremonies - Monday, May 19, 2025
The Boston College Commencement Exercises are a two-part ceremony:
- The University Commencement (Main Ceremony) will be held in at 10:00 a.m.
- The specific School Diploma Ceremony is听held immediately after the University Commencement Ceremony.听听

Woods College Graduation Process
听
The University awards degrees in May, August, and December and holds a Commencement Ceremony in May each year.
Students who completed all degree requirements in August or December are eligible to participate in the University鈥檚 next official Commencement date in May.听
- Official communications are only sent to your 小艾电竞 email; please check it frequently.
- If your 小艾电竞 email account has been deactivated, please provide us with your preferred email address:听wcas@bc.edu. You must include your full name, Eagle ID number, degree program, graduation date, and daytime phone number.
- Please don't hesitate to contact your Academic Advisor if you have any questions or concerns.
Requirements
Undergraduate Advising听听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听 听听Graduate Advising
This will ensure that a graduate's diploma is printed correctly and that the graduate's name is listed in the University's Commencement program. Please note that only a graduate's name, degree, and Latin honors (if applicable) are printed on the diploma.
Students who already received their diplomas during the prior semester skip this step.
The deadlines for students to verify their diploma names are:听
- Monday, April 15,听for听students who plan to graduate in听May
- July 31,听for students who plan to graduate in听August
- December 12,听for students who plan to graduate in听December
> Students听can use the Verify Diploma Information section in the Agora Portal to provide their names as they wish them to appear on their diplomas.听
Remember, if you are off-campus, you must connect via to access the portal.
Login to the Agora Portal听and go to:
- My Services
- Account and Personal Info tab
- Verify Diploma Information, follow the instructions

In March/April,听听all graduating Woods College students who have received Federal student loans and/or disbursements from Boston College must complete an online exit interview.
If you received any Campus-based student loans, those exits will be completed at the link below:
You will receive an email in March/April directing you to complete the online exit(s). Failure to complete an exit interview or resolve any outstanding financial obligation to the University will result in a hold on your diploma and transcript.
For answers to questions regarding student loans repayment, call the Office of Student Services at 617颅-552-颅3300 or 800-颅294-颅0294 and ask to speak with a member of the Loan Repayment staff.听You can also send an email to听BORROWER@小艾电竞.EDU.
Those who would like to participate in the May Commencement Exercises must fill out two forms. Students who are graduating in summer 2025 but are cleared to walk in commencement, should also complete the form as a May 2025 graduate.

- Filling out this form confirms attendance at the听Woods College Diploma Ceremony.
2.听小艾电竞's Commencement Registration Form
- Filling out this form confirms attendance at the听Main Ceremony.
Deadline to complete BOTH forms is May 1, 2025.听If you have any questions about academics, contact your academic advisor.
Remember to check your 小艾电竞 email periodically.

Deadline for ordering your cap and gown is听Monday, March 31, 2025. Masters students should select "Science" as their curriculum as all Woods graduate programs are Masters of Science.

Leaving 小艾电竞: What happens with your 小艾电竞 computing services?
After completing all courses and degree requirements, many changes will occur to 小艾电竞 computing services, depending on the graduation term.
Email, 小艾电竞 Google account, Agora Portal, 小艾电竞 Zoom, Microsoft Office 365, network access, and all other 小艾电竞 services will be available for 180 days, following the below schedule:
- May graduates: 180 days after June 1st (end of November)
- Summer graduates: 180 days after September 15th (mid-March)
- December graduates: 180 days after January 15th (mid-July)
Graduates will receive an email reminder one month before they lose access to 小艾电竞 services.
