The Center for Child and Family Policy serves as a hub to coordinate and expand the robust interdisciplinary research at Boston College in the field of child and family policy. Our research utilizes an array of theoretical frameworks and methodologies to develop a stronger understanding of how our experiences in childhood shape who we become and how policies and practices can support families, communities, and institutions and hence improve the wellbeing of children and families. The center works with a broad array of stakeholders to develop and apply new scientific knowledge to shape policies and practices that improve the health and well-being of children, families, and communities across the world.
